How to Build Your Downline and Turn It into a Duplication Machine

There Ain’t No Free Lunch

First, stop buying into the junk you see on the internet, with big promises. Now I’m not saying that there aren’t a few miracle success stories, because there are. But I’m talking to all of you “normal” people out there! Listen, you can’t build your downline in a week or a month. You can’t build a downline by doing nothing. Most network marketers can’t build a downline using traditional methods. It just doesn’t work!

What I Mean By “How to Build Your Downline”

Most ads that promise to show you how to build your downline are based on recruiting. Certainly, recruiting or sponsoring is the first step. But that’s just signing people up. If those people don’t multiply, what good is it, really?
You will not make real money in network marketing unless you really know how to BUILD your downline, that is, sponsoring the right quantity and QUALITY of distributors, training, coaching and developing their skills, and showing them how to duplicate the process to build their downlines.
Once you figure out how to do all three, your downline will have its own life, not just dependent on you being a super-recruiter (which doesn’t even work anyway)!

Who To Sponsor

I’ll be honest. Most new network marketers would sign up anyone with a pulse. But that does not make for a duplicating downline. To truly build a downline, you need current or future MLM pros. People who share your goal of building a strong MLM business and are willing to work for it. So, targeting your marketing is vital.
Certainly, you’ll need some quantity when it comes to your sponsoring. But it isn’t about mass quantity if they aren’t going to duplicate. I’d rather have 5 great team members than 100 that never do anything.

Developing  Your Downline Into Duplication

Don’t be like every other sponsor in the business, spewing out the same old training methods. Usually, sponsors don’t really know how to build your downline. They only can repeat what they’ve heard. We have this weird, irrational habit in MLM of listening to your sponsor, even if they just joined right before you did!
If you cannot teach your downline exactly what to do and coach them along as they do it, forget it. Learn how to use duplicable MLM systems and insist that your team use the same one. By all of you doing the same thing, tremendous support and synergy develops, and your downline can multiply.

The 100 Day Challenge

Commit yourself. I mean REALLY COMMIT yourself to jump start your business for 100 days with psycho-level effort. Then reevaluate. But do not quit! You cannot judge whether something is working unless you implement it, refine it, study it and are consistent.
  1. Get an MLM System. Learn it. Use it. It will have training to teach you ALL the following steps!
  2. Pick one strategy. I recommend you start with the fastest, easiest methods, such as social media marketing. Learn it, Do it until you start receiving daily leads. Make it part of your daily routine from today forward.
  3. Build a blog. Takes some effort, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. It can be plain and boring. It doesn’t matter. Start writing daily posts.
  4. Learn some basic backlinking techniques, social sharing and article marketing.
It will probably start slow, but this is how to build your downline. Most importantly, regardless of your experience level, don’t do all this alone. Get a mentor. Just like your downline needs you, YOU need a mentor to help you.

13 Tips To Help You Build a Massive MLM Downline

How To Build a Massive MLM Downline
How to build a massive MLM downline is the type of question that causes  frustrated network marketers sleepless nights.  Well fear not my fellow MLM’rs, in this post I’m going to give you 13 tips on How To Build A Massive MLM Downline.
1.  System For Success – Make sure to have a Duplicatable System. If you don’t have an easy to understand, step by step system, you’re finished before you even started.  If the company doesn’t have one, it’s not that hard to make one up yourself.  This will also brand you as a leader.
2.  Play Follow The Leader – Be sure to emphasize the importance of following the system.  This is especially true for beginners.  However, make sure to let experienced network marketers “do that voodoo that they do so well.”
3.  Your Participation Is Appreciated – Let your team members and downline know that they need to participate in team and company training calls and webinars.
4.  Put Your Game Face On – Create a 30 day game plan to give to your team.  Make sure that it includes written goal setting and creates an accountability system.  Make sure that each sponsor or team leader goes over the game plan with each new team member.
5.  Take Action – Stress the importance of consistent action.  A body in motion tends to stay in motion.  A body on the couch, tends to stay on the couch.  :-)   It’s easy to create a daily activity sheet for new team members to follow.  Ex. 1.  Add 10 new Facebook friends; 2.  fill in the blanks, you get the idea.
6.  Patience Is A Virtue – Explain to your downline that “Slow and Steady Wins the Race.”  Let them know upfront that creating a residual income takes time and that they should stay in at least 1-2 years.
7.  We’re In The Money – Make sure to help your new recruits get into profit quickly.  If people don’t start making money quickly, your team members will start quitting and your downline will die a slow death.
8.  Knowledge is Power – Encourage your downline to study network marketing techniques and improve their skill sets.  Remember, their success, is your success!
9.  There’s No Crying in MLM – Be a strong leader and motivator.  However, don’t be a babysitter.  Your teammates can’t improve themselves if you do everything for them.  Additionally, you can’t build a massive downline if you’re busy micro managing.
10.  Lead By Example -  “If you’re going to talk the talk, make sure you walk the walk.”  Never ask your downline to do something you wouldn’t do.
11.  Time is Money – Make sure that your downline knows that your time is valuable.  For example, let them know that you’re happy to do a 3 way calls.  However, they shouldn’t set up a 3 way call until:  1.  they are sure that the lead is interested in joining; 2.  they have explained the opportunity to the prospect; and 3.  that they have told the prospect about you and branded you as a leader…. etc.
12.  The Squeaky Wheel Doesn’t Get The Grease – In order to build a massive mlm downline make sure to work with everyone.  However, you should focus most of your energy and time working with your team members who are motivated and hard working.
13.   Take Me To Your Leader – Always be on the lookout for leaders, self starters and motivated individuals.  The truth is that a small percentage or core group of motivated individuals who “get it” will help you build a massive downline faster than the rest of your team.
Ok, there’s bonus points if you can tell me which of the topics or phrases are movie or song references.  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, if you would do me a favor and push some of the buttons (Facebook Like or Share, Tweet, Digg etc.)          I would appreciate it.

Building Your MLM Downline THE RIGHT Way

Building Your MLM DownlineOk, so there’s been a lot of debate about how one should build a downline…
Should you recruit, recruit, recruit and let your downline sort themselves out?
Should you recruit 2 people and help them recruit two who recruit two who recruit two?
Should you strategically place or “position” people under certain reps?
Or should you take a different approach?
Honestly, most Networkers will tell you this isn’t even worth talking about as there’s no best way to build a downline. They’ll tell you to recruit and that your downline should start recruiting also. In fact, in the majority of the companies I’ve been involved in…
I was just told to recruit and let my downline sort themselves out. Oh what a fool I was…
To cut a VERY long and HIGHLY boring story short, there is absolutely a better way to build your downline. Maybe not a best way, but you can definitely strategically build your downline for faster, easier profits and exponential growth.
Before I tell you exactly how, let me tell you what not to do:
  • Don’t let your downline “sort themselves out”.
  • Don’t recruit just 2 people and then help them get their two.
  • Don’t listen to your stupid companies training & recruiting ideas. Most of them suck!
As I said there isn’t 1 ultimate way to build a downline, but I will tell you two strategies that have worked wonders for me in the past.

Strategy #1: Recruiting A Set Number Of Reps

This strategy sort of works best with matrix type schemes where you can only have x amount of people in each level of your downline. Saying that, it can work with any compensation plan and it’s an incredibly powerful model to follow if you want to see RAPID duplication.
All this strategy involves is recruiting a set number of reps, then helping those guys recruit the same number of reps. As you probably already know, duplication can be a real bitch. As even if you’re a closing monster who can recruit 10+ people daily, 90% of those people will never recruit a fish. So…
I dread to say it but, you sort of need to hand hold them. I hate hand holding and believe whoever came up with the idea should be shot dead (LOL). Me personally, I don’t hand hold any of my new reps. Not unless I have a personal connection with them or they’re already doing really well. If people are doing really well, they’ll only excel with a little personal help. Anyway, hand holding is a waste of energy 90% of the time.
As you end up spending hours daily training reps only to see them quit a few months later. It’s really frustrating when that happens, trust me… I know! With that all being said, if you want to give your reps a real shot at being Network Marketing superstars, you need to personally teach them a few things. My rule: Only give away personal help to people who you truly people will excel and make you fortunes for years to come. Not some brain dead jackass who can’t put a presentation together.
A lot of MLM companies have a 2 person rule. Where once you join you only have to recruit 2 people. Then once you’ve recruited those 2 people, you help them get their two people. Then you teach them how to teach their two people and so on. Eventually resulting in a massive downline that has actually duplicated down like 10 levels. Sure, it happens sometimes but, you’ll always get a “chink in the chain” where some idiot drops out or can’t even recruit 2 people. Some comp plans use spillover where every rep you recruit after your Nth, will spill over into your downline’s downline. Filling up all spots and not leaving anyone behind. It sounds good in theory, but has some major flaws.
So this strategy can actually work, but I advise people doing it with 10-20 reps. And… I don’t mean with your first 10-20 reps. I mean recruiting hundreds if need be until you actually find 10-20 reps worthy of your time. 10-20 reps who you truly believe have the potential to build 6 or 7+ figure businesses. When you find those people, you can practically stop recruiting. You can just teach those guys how to market and how to bring in new reps daily. Simply concept, Very powerful, Needs adjusting.

Strategy #2: Using systems and constant recruiting

As I said earlier, there’s no best way to build a downline because people are different and so are compensation plans. Anyways, this is a strategy I like to personally use:
I don’t encourage my downline to recruit a set number of reps as I believe people will always drop out PERIOD. Like I’ve seen reps build 4-5 figure pay checks and suddenly quit. For some obscure reason it happens. The point is that you should NEVER stop recruiting. If you use traffic systems and trust building systems you’ll be able to automate the recruiting process entirely.
Should you carefully position people in your downline?
Honestly, yeah you should. Some comp plans won’t allow you to do this. However if you’re in say a 5×5 matrix that pays $10k/month once full…
You’d need to recruit 5 rock stars at the top. Not going to talk about this too much, as this information won’t apply to the majority of compensation plans. Anyway, I like to use systems. As I said I don’t agree with hand holding as the fact is people will waste your time. That’s why it’s important to keep fueling your downline with new members through the power of marketing. Probably the most important step apart from actually recruiting… using automated training systems.
Who said you have to personally teach your reps how to do everything? The truth is that you don’t have to teach them anything. All you need is some kind of training center. Getting started training, offline marketing training, online marketing training, prospecting, recruiting and training on making phone calls. You basically need to record videos teaching EVERYTHING that goes into building a successful MLM business. If you miss anything, you’ll end up getting a bunch of questions which you obviously don’t want.
So that’s the master plan… just constant recruiting and training systems? Well yeah, there isn’t that much to it really. It goes like this…
Marketing > Lead Gen Process > Email list > Relationship building > New reps > Training systems > Duplication > Repeat
Hardly rocket science, one other thing I’d recommend doing is live training. Webinars and even get togethers. Lastly, choose a select few to go into your “elite mastermind group”. Obviously, around 5% of your downline will make up 100% of your check. The rest will just mill around doing crap all, making you pathetic commissions each month just for staying on the product auto ship. That is until they eventually decide to quit. (which is statistically proven to be in less than 12 months btw)
Now your mastermind group… you need to coach their brains out. Teach them the secrets, the stuff that you don’t share with anyone else. Teach them how to hold presentations and how to setup automated traffic systems. Most importantly, teach them how to become recruiting Jedi’s. As I just said, like 5% of your downline will make 100% of your pay check. So stop trying to help everybody by coaching your entire downline. It’s not feasible and it’s the biggest mistake in Network Marketing. Instead, find out who the 5%’ers are and talk to them. Even hold a group mastermind at your house once every quarter. Or go on a cruise will them. Remember what that Napoleon Hill guy said… 2 minds put together can produce quadruple the results as one.
In Prosperity,

How To Build Downline In Network Marketing Business

Having a huge downline is a very important element for the success in the network marketing business. Significant members in the downline promote and provide better income for a very longer period. When a person joins any affiliate program, they get a replicated website with more information on the products or service, and even most of the affiliate programs provide advertising and marketing stuffs to promote the website. Here are few ways to build huge downline in the network marketing business.
First way is to advertise in e-newsletters or Ezines. First, the marketers have to find the Ezines that are highly related to their business as most number of readers will be connected with newsletter of what they are looking for. This way, marketers can reach large number of audiences. According to the performance of the advertisements made in the Ezines, one can select the newsletters that perform well.
Another great and well-known strategy is the pay-per-click program and this is the great option for affiliates. In this program, the affiliates have to bid on a particular phrase or keyword that is highly associated with their business and this helps to target the exact audiences. Researching on keywords is very important and this is the best investment. Next strategy is paying for sign ups. This is little costly and the marketers have to pay at least $15 for 25 sign ups.
Although this strategy works, the marketers should have a proper email follow-up or other tool to engage and attract the potential customers. Tools are very important for building trust and relationship with the clients. Another idea is to do article marketing. In this option, marketers can promote their product or services by means of high quality articles.
Branding themselves is very important for the marketers and people will follow a person if they believe the marketer as the expert with experience. Article should focus more on the benefits of the products or services and should also contain little information about the marketer. Finally, another well-known strategy is the email signature where the affiliates can add some information about their business.

How to Build a Downline

They too, can earn the same way if the recruit others to join the network in the same way that you did. Some MLM companies are paying up to third and fourth degree downlines. MLM seems to be a lucrative business. But a lot of people are hesitant to join because of one reason - they are afraid they will never build their downlines. However, it is rather easy to recruit downlines, if you know how to do it. Here are some tips:1. Participate actively in forums. Do you know that the very people you can recruit are chatting idly at forums? Select a forum that is very related to the product, the system, or the service that your MLM parent company is offering. In there, you will find all sorts of people - people who want to buy the product, people who are selling it, and people who simply interested in knowing more about it. If you actively participate in forums related to your business and build a good reputation, it will be easy for you recruit others to join you. 2. Use social networking sites. Social networking sites were hit this decade. For some reason, it has lured half of all the internet users in the world to create their profile, build their own web page, and invite other friends to join the network. See, that's exactly how MLM works. And so if social networking sites were so popular, you might as well use it to find members to become your downline. If you have been using the internet for so long, chances are, you are already a part of a social networking site like MySpace. If you are, then all you have to do is to send an invitation email to your friends. Just count how many would respond positively upon your invitation. 3. Advertise.More often than not, online MLM businesses provide their members with their own splash page to gain more recruits. Use that link and advertise it on key places like Google, Overture, Yahoo, and others. You might need to create an entirely different landing page or generate a redirect URL for it, as some of these sites don't accept referral links. Also, there are some people who refrain from going to sites that are obviously a referral link because they do not want to be sold to. 4. Use member generator sites, tools, and softwareRight now, a lot of internet and programming experts had seen the need of MLM marketers to build a strong downline for their business to flourish. For this purpose, several websites, tools, and programs were created to do exactly that. There are sites that offer referral exchanges and sites that allow the referral links and banners to be published. As for tools, there are downline software that can be used to manage, contact, and follow up prospects or members of your MLM business. These are the ways on how you can build your downline and be successful in MLM. MLM is one of the most profitable businesses online. It can provide you with residual income. That also means that after all your hard workComputer Technology Articles, you can retire knowing that your downline will always be around working for you.

Build Downline For Your MLM Network Marketing Business

Mlm network marketing is what is called multi level marketing.Mlm started with Amway years ago and now moved into the internet era.Network marketing is a business that markets a line of products or several lines of products through inpendent salespeople. An independent salesperson is recruited; she, in turn, recruits other people; these people recruit others, and so it goes. Each representative builds her own business with her recruits and their recruits under her, and she makes commission on the sales volume of her team. The people under the independent salesperson are called the downline.
The potential for increasing the downline and earning money is exponential. The mlm network marketing is open to a lot of scams.MLM is the Last hope in America for the little person to learn how to make money and actually do it.There is millions of people today earning a full time income with part time work. The idea behind multi-level marketing (MLM) is simple. Imagine you have a product to sell. A common MLM product is some sort of panacea, such as a vitamin or mineral supplement. You could do what most businesses do: either sell it directly to consumers or find others who will buy your product from you and sell it to other people. This is not to say there is no benefit to MLM membership. You get certain tax write-offs. You get to buy products, some of which you will be happy with. You get to go to inspirational meetings, some of which will make you feel good. You may meet new friends and you may even make a few bucks. It may be true that millions of people are online now.
However, it isn't true that all you have to do is send them an email and they are just sitting their eagerly awaiting to send you cash and join your downline or buy products from your online mall. In fact it is harder to get someone to buy on the Internet than in a normal business environment.Network Marketers all over the globe have lost thousands of dollars after throwing up a website, doing a little advertising and expecting huge profits to start rolling in.This is why you need to build a downline. This is one of the most fun and rewarding businesses today.
To Build a downline will take a little time and effort. In your efforts to recruit others into your MLM business, you've probably encountered people who were rude to you and you've been rejected by friends, family and strangers more often than not. You've probably wondered what you could do differently, what else could you say, how could you get past that brick wall you keep running into? You can join a mlm downline club ,pay for a guaranteed downline,or you can buy mlm leads.A downline is a lot harder to build for mlm and takes work.Getting a downline for mlm is different than getting downlines for other programs. One way to build a downline for your mlm network marketing to cerate sales letters.Sales letters work the best for mlm.You can find samples of great sales letters all over the internet. You also need to make alliances for 4 reasons. They are
1) to generate awareness and develop targeted leads (internet traffic);
2) to expand your reach faster than you could alone;
3) to take advantage of the clout or customer base of another company (or another website); and
4) to distribute your products and services through another company (or website) to increase your sales and/or reduce your costs.
In conclusion just with any business endeavor, it is the unique and creative ways that a business uses the tools available that determines its success. I challenge you to stretch your imagination. Try some new things.
Refuse to view the internet primarily as a scientific, technology-driven tool, but instead strive to use the web in highly creative ways that set your company apart. Innovation and timing count for everything on the web.Recognize the importance of tracking, and make sure that you have a plan in place to track all of your future marketing activities. The simplest way to track is to ask each new customer where or how they found out about you. The importance of tracking, and make sure that you have a plan in place to track all of your future marketing activities. The simplest way to track is to ask each new customer where or how they found out about you. Please beware of the 7 common mistakes in mlm and they are
1.) Using "Institutional Advertising"
Institutional advertising is advertising that does not focus on your prospects. Rather on you, your company, your pay plan, your products, your bonus pool, your packaging, or the sales people at the home office.Anything that does not focus solely on your prospect is institutional advertising. Think of Coke-A-Cola. That's institutional advertising. Their sole purpose is brand their name into your mind. That way when you get thirsty and want a soda, you buy a Coke. You must focus on your prospects ego and their desires. What they want takes priority over what you or the MLM company you're with wants. Tell them what's in it for them.Solution: Create prospect focused advertising and drop your ego and appeal to the prospects ego.
2.) Fell Into Management Mode
This one is a biggy. In order to make money in network marketing (or in direct selling) the life blood is new business. For the first 2-3 years new business is what drives your income. If you spend all of your time managing people and none of it actually acquiring new business you'll fall into a mode where your income levels off or just drops. This is management mode and it will stop you dead in your tracks from making long term income from MLM.Solution: Always be moving forward, building your group. Leading by example. By building.
3.) Making MLM Your Business
One of the most sobering and completely real facts of MLM is that you do not own your own MLM business. At any moment in time the network marketing company you're with could shut it's doors, change it's policies, cut the popular products (not likely, but happens) or any number of things that would instantly stop your income or cut it by 50%.Making MLM your business limits you. Stops you from seeing all of the possibilities outside the MLM industry. Instantly turning your income into something that is in reality, not yours. Make MLM a part of your business. Not the sole reason it exists.Solution: Expand your business into other areas. Not just MLM.
4.) Not Being Personal
MLM takes time, money, more time and more money to develop. As does any profitable business. However, in the day of emails, fax machines, web sites, online video, and super technology, it is easier than ever to forget you are working with real live people with real live problems and worries.Adding a personal touch to the process will build your credibility, and build trust with those you plan on working with.Solution: Add a personal touch and build trust
5.) Not Being Realistic
Technology makes it easier for you to contact more and more people at an ever growing rate. Which leads some people to hype up their claims. Hyped up claims are not always so outrageous they instantly appear full of hype. Some of them are subtle, like, "No direct selling." Which seems like a benefit, because people hate to sell. In truth, direct selling is network marketing. You are not as aggressive about it. But you will, and always be selling something to someone.Solution: Be Realistic and understand network marketing is a selling business.
6.) Losing Focus
Losing focus is easy. Thousands of ways to advertise and reach your market exist. Pick 1 or 2 or 3 of them. Not all of them. Focus on what works, and drop what doesn't. If you know it's not working after a few weeks, don't do it anymore.Solution: Focus only on one, two or three advertising strategies at time. And focus on them until they prove to be ineffective.
7.) Becoming a Computer Jockey
A Computer Jockey? What's that? Computer Jockey's are people who sit there in front of their computer and try to work their MLM business completely online. 24 hours per dayFree Articles, 7 days per week.I hope by reading this you have a better idea about how to build a downline for your mlm network marketing.Good luck and make money.

How to Build Your Downline

Making money in multi-level marketing (MLM), also known as network marketing, requires you to sponsor other people, who then become your "downline." This type of structure gives you a financial bonus for the sales revenue produced by the people you enlist and by those they sponsor, too. It can be a challenge to find people for your downline who are self-motivated and eager to learn the process of growing their businesses. Succeeding in building your downline takes persistent effort and a willingness to follow instructions from your sponsor and others in your upline. You might experience many rejections before you find enough people to accept your business opportunity and help you fulfill your financial goals.

Sponsoring Downline

Step 1

Set goals with your sponsor to be accountable for your activity. You might be more motivated to build your downline if you have committed to sponsoring a certain number of prospects a week or month. Meet frequently with your sponsor to review the activity required to reach your goals.

Step 2

Show your new business to acquaintances and relatives. If you are excited about your future, your enthusiasm can be contagious. You might find downline in the people you already know.

Step 3

Study the art of approaching people you don't know and qualifying them to join your downline by striking a conversation to find out if they've every wanted their own business. Ask your sponsor to accompany and coach you while you prospect. Buy tools, such as CDs, videos and books, offered by your MLM, which will combine inspirational stories with practical training on how to build your downline.

Step 4

Start conversations with people when you prospect in person. If you're standing in line at the grocery store, comment on something you and the person behind you have in common, such as kids or taste in food. Focus on becoming acquainted with someone as a friend before you offer a business opportunity. Give prospects your business card and ask for their contact information so you can call them later.

Step 5

Advertise online through a website, blog, emails or paid ad space on business sites to attract prospects looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity. Since some individuals might have misconceptions about MLMs -- equating them with pyramid schemes -- don't give too many details or exaggerate the income potential. Use terminology your target market can relate to, such as "Are you tired of your job?" or "Have you been looking for a business you can run part time?"

Step 6

Invite your prospects to informational meetings about your MLM once you have screened them for interest in owning their own business. Experienced upline or other distributors will work with you by explaining the opportunity and answering your prospects' questions. Meetings can be held in intimate settings around a dining room table, or in larger settings like a spacious hotel banquet space.

Step 7

Ask your prospects to sign up. Once you have given your contacts all the information they need to decide if the business is right for them, offer to sell them a start-up kit. It's unlikely that they will broach the subject first, so be assertive in finding out if they are ready to make a decision.

Building Downline Businesses

Step 1

Be loyal to your company brand. Lead by example, so buy and use the products you sell. If your company specializes in home water purifiers, don't buy bottled water. Be a walking advertisement so your downline will do the same.

Step 2

Encourage your downline to attend as many group-wide meetings and conventions as possible. Being in an atmosphere with other distributors provides motivation and revitalizes the resolve to set and keep goals. Also, these conventions showcase products and services, which can help improve sales. By building your immediate downline and those they sponsor, you increase income for everyone involved.

Step 3

Mentor the downline in your group and organize meetings in their homes. Encourage them to invite people investigating the opportunity, then tell your other distributors about the time and place. Don't worry about space. The more crowded the venue, the more excited participants become. It's better to run out of seats than to set out too many empty chairs.

Step 4

Promote the business-building tools that were helpful to you. Since you can't mentor all of your downline at the same time, encourage them to seek information and training from the CDs and books. Make sure you have read and listened to everything you suggest, in case members of your downline ask you about them.

Step 5

Show you care. Place people before business to build trust. Listen to their challenges and offer real solutions that benefit them, not just yourself. Having the respect of members in your downline can motivate them to continue growing their businesses because they enjoy working with you.

Network Marketing Prospecting

prospecting
A chapter designed to improve your prospecting technique and build your downline
Network marketing prospecting is arguably the most important skill to master when looking to establish your network marketing business and therefore it is important you invest some time towards developing your technique. For this reason we have dedicated a whole chapter towards how to improve your prospecting success.
As the name suggests, network marketing is essentially a sales and marketing business. The problem with this is that there are very few network marketers who have tertiary qualifications in sales or marketing. Therefore it is important that you dedicate some of your training time towards learning some basic sales and social marketing principles such that you can develop your prospecting technique.
In this chapter we will teach you some essential marketing knowledge and show you how to promote your business opportunity even if you feel uncomfortable being a salesperson. Not only do we hope to make it easy, but also such that you can have fun along the way.
Note: Whilst all networkers are keen to start building a downline as soon as they get started in their business (and this chapter can show you how) we encourage you to first (if you haven’t already) review our Network Marketing Product Prospecting Chapter and learn why finding customers and promoting your products should be your main priority.
